What is your draw to the French Brittany as a companion? Here is one idea, is it fiction or fantasy or history?

The summer of his 12th birthday was one that young Brandon would never forget. His parents had surprised him with a beautiful French Brittany Spaniel puppy and he could hardly contain himself with excitement. He named the pup Champ, because he knew this pup was going to be “the champ” of all hunting dogs! For the remainder of that summer, Brandon spent every waking moment with his new best friend training him, playing fetch and just generally getting to know each other better.

By the time fall rolled around, both boy and dog were well-prepared for their first hunt together! Although a little nervous at first, as soon as they began walking through the woods looking for upland birds such as pheasants, Brandon felt an overwhelming sense of pride in knowing that it was due to his hard work and dedication raising Champ that made them such a successful team on their hunts. Day after day they ventured out into nature together creating lasting memories and building a bond between them like no other.

Throughout adulthood life threw many challenges at Brandon but none seemed too difficult until tragedy struck when suddenly he found himself alone without anyone or anything in his life. It was then when those past memories came flooding back reminding him of how much happiness can come from having someone by your side; someone you shared so many experiences with; someone who believed in you unconditionally – just like Champ did all those years ago during those summer days spent training for hunting season.

It wasn’t long before another four-legged companion entered into Brandon’s life again – only this time it wasn’t quite the same since he now had more experience under his belt than back when he adopted Champ some 15 years prior! Despite this however, there remained something special about starting anew again – maybe even more special than before because now Brandon understood what it meant to take on a challenge as big as raising yet another French Brittany puppy from scratch…just like old times!
