Barley is an exceptional young dog that was born May of 2022. He may be available to the right home under the right circumstances. He was raised to be a service dog and has had extensive public access training and obedience. He is a lover and must be a house dog, preferably sleeping on the bed. He loves to retrieve and has seen wild and liberated birds. Ideally he will continue his service work in scent detection such as Diabetes alert, or other scent detection. He has been trained for gluten detection.

He is pointing and retrieving, doesn’t mind gunfire at all. Has seen pheasants, quail, chukar, and sage grouse so far. He runs hard and will generally range out to about 150 yards and recalls well. He will work closer in thick cover or if directed.

He loves road trips. He will sleep on the back seat, will ride fine in a crate or trailer or dog box but prefers to ride in the cab.
